The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, PA (PMR Center) is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist to join our well-established, multidisciplinary practice. With over three decades of service, the PMR Center is a leading provider of comprehensive spine, sports, and occupational rehabilitation care in the New York and Northern New Jersey region.

The PMR Center is a busy out-patient practice with locations in Bergen County NJ, Rockland County NY and Riverdale NY . Responsibilities include evaluating and treating various conditions, designing and implementing a treatment plan, as well as administering direct patient care in accordance with the written and signed prescription of the referring doctor. The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the PT must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.

Caseload includes:

  • Orthopedic pre/ post-surgery rehabilitation
  • Nerve compression, arthritic conditions, and repetitive strain injuries
  • Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease/Multiple Sclerosis/Stroke
  • Sports rehabilitation
  • Job Type: Part-time and full-time positions are available.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist Assistant located in Englewood, NJ. The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in executing treatment plans designed by physical therapists, provide hands-on patient care, ensure the highest level of quality patient care, and support patients in their rehabilitation process. Daily tasks include administering physical therapy treatments, documenting patient progress, and educating patients on therapeutic exercises and body mechanics.

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our physical therapy clinic. This key role serves as the first point of contact for our patients and supports the smooth operation of daily clinic activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with a professional and welcoming demeanor
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous front desk or administrative experience preferred (medical office experience a plus)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Physiatry and Pain Management practice.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Record patient histories, pain assessments, and vital signs accurately
  • Assist with physical exams, EMG studies, ultrasound-guided injections, and other procedures
  • Manage pre- and post-injection care under physician supervision
  • Coordinate diagnostic imaging and therapy referrals
  • Manage appointment scheduling, insurance verifications, and prior authorizations
  • Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR)
  • Ensure sterile technique and proper equipment handling for procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in pain management, orthopedics, or physical medicine a plus
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Proficient in EHR systems and comfortable with clinical documentation
  • Empathetic and patient-focused with a professional demeanor
