The PMR Center is a busy out-patient practice with locations in Bergen County NJ, Rockland County NY and Riverdale NY . Responsibilities include evaluating and treating various conditions, designing and implementing a treatment plan, as well as administering direct patient care in accordance with the written and signed prescription of the referring doctor. The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the PT must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist Assistant located in Englewood, NJ. The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in executing treatment plans designed by physical therapists, provide hands-on patient care, ensure the highest level of quality patient care, and support patients in their rehabilitation process.
